Established in 1920, the League is a highly respected citizens’ organization that researches issues from many points of view and takes action on issues affecting our families and communities. Our members are men and women who make a difference.

  •  The League is nonpartisan; we do not support or oppose candidates.
  • The League does take a stand on critical issues.
  • The League mobilizes people to vote and to take action.

Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to everyone. U.S. citizens of voting age may join as voting members. Those under age 18 and non-citizens may join as associate members.

    I am very new at this but think ,I would be interested in knowing a little more. I am 83 years of age and a little limited in what I could do. I do like to be informed, and love to watch ” the Congress in action.” I call it that when I watch them on television. I am also disgusted by what I am seeing. My daughter gave me a little information about you and suggested I check into it. Phyllis Brinkerhoff
