LWVJoCo Obtains 501(c)(3) Status

LWVJoCo received exciting news, just in time for the holiday! After over two years and a lot of work, the IRS has granted LWVJoCo 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This allows LWVJoCo to seek funding from foundations that typically require this status, and it enables donors to LWVJoCo to deduct contributions from their taxes. This will play an important part in the League's strategic plan.

DEIMoment-UniversalMonthforHumanRights
