Souls to the Polls meeting

Souls to the Polls is a non-partisan, "people-powered" initiative to get out the vote in Wyandotte County. We only have FOUR months to mobilize voters! Join us to help us organize and leverage our people-powered initiative to Get Out the Vote!

Learn about the 2022 legislative session at the library!

LWVJoCo is excited to partner with the Mainstream Coalition and the Voter Rights Network of Wyandotte County on a discussion to help us make sense of the 2022 legislative session. This session, moderated by Clay Firestone, Kansas Reflector Opinion Editor, will focus on legislation affecting redistricting, voting rights, public education, and LGBTQ rights. Registration is encouraged but not required.

The Impact of Citizens United

Join us for a lunch 'n learn event led by Meg Shadid and Kim Wahaus, high school Advanced Placement Government teachers with the Olathe Public School District, who participated in the Harvard Civic course. The panelists will analyze the Justices' opinions and their impact on campaign finance trends.

Join Mike Taylor as he moderates a discussion with legislators and activists to help us make sense of the 2022 session. This event is co-sponsored with the Mainstream Coalition and the Voter Rights Network of Wyandotte County.
