Dear Members of the League of Women Voters of Johnson County,

We look forward to seeing you on March 1, 2025 for the LWVJoCo’s 2025 Annual Meeting. At this meeting, we will approve the 2025-2026 budget, hold elections for Board positions, make changes to our bylaws and standing rules, set the local programs for next year, and make other decisions for the coming year.

The 2025 Annual Meeting Packet is available for your review at this link (https://www.lwvjoco.org/docs.ashx?id=1492462). We urge you to review the information prior to the meeting. You may access the packet during the meeting on your phone, tablet, or laptop. You are welcome to print the document and bring it to the meeting. Please note that, in consideration of the organization’s limited budget, printed copies will not be provided at the meeting.

We greatly appreciate the contributions of Debbie Kitchin and Amber Stenger in the creation of the 2025 Annual Meeting Packet. 

Holding elections for the 2025-26 Board is one of the important items of business for this meeting. According to our bylaws, members may make nominations from the floor for any open position. You may nominate yourself or another member. If you plan to nominate someone other than yourself, you must receive that individual’s consent prior to the meeting.

After the business meeting adjourns, we will reconvene in the building’s Fellowship Hall for the small group discussions to identify strategies to achieve the priorities and goals for the LWVJoCo’s Strategic Plan 2022-2027.
