Judges Up For Retention
Kansas Supreme Court and Appellate Court Judges are appointed. In Johnson County, judges are appointed. In Wyandotte County, judges are elected.
Periodically, after these judges are appointed, the voters are asked to retain or not to retain these judges. The following resources will provide you with information about the judges to inform your vote about retention.

Each election cycle, the Johnson County Bar provides information about the judges up for retention in Johnson County. This year the Appellate and District 10 Judge evaluations can be found here.

By going to vote411.org and entering your address, you will see all the candidates on your ballot. All the judges on your ballot are listed there and some of the judges provided information about themselves.
