On MLK Day, demand voting rights!
This coming Monday, January 17, the national League will join the King family and partners for #DeliverForVotingRights action at the White House. They will honor Dr. King's legacy by rallying President Biden and Congress to protect our freedom to vote and pass voting rights legislation.
Tell your Senators to eliminate the filibuster and pass the voting rights legislation our democracy needs!

Negro History Week began in the 1940s and became known as Black History Month by the 1970s. Join us
Saturday, February 5
, for a discussion of the question, "What value can be derived from segregating the study of Black history from the study of white or Native American history?"
Mark McCormick, director of strategic communications for the ACLU Kansas will moderate the discussion. He will be joined by:
Gretchen Cassell Eick, an award-winning author and professor of history at Friends University in Wichita, KS
Dr. Robert Weems, Jr., a Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at Wichita State University
