Standing in solidarity with the Black community

The League is committed to expanding our voice beyond the statement we released a few weeks ago. LWV CEO Virginia Kase wrote a blog, "Standing in Solidarity with the Black Community," to share how the League plans to proceed as allies in the social justice space. The League also offers these recommendations and safety guidelines for how to be good allies in this moment.

Learn, connect and refuel at LWV's national convention

LWVUS recently opened up registration for those wishing to attend our national convention as observers rather than voting delegates. Convention observers cannot submit motions or amendments to motions, participate in debates or vote. Instead, they will be able to watch the plenary proceedings via YouTube livestream at no cost on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27. The panel discussion on Thursday evening is open to everyone and will be streamed on Facebook.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 15
