Gaylene Crouser, Executive Director of the Kansas City Indian Center, will offer stories and vital information about our shared history. Participants will learn about anti-indigenous laws, practices and genocidal acts specific to the Kansas and Missouri region. Gaylene will also provide ways for participants to become advocates for truth and healing.<br /><br />Please share with friends and family that if folks would prefer to watch the presentation at the library or do not have internet at home, we will have the Jahn Room open.<br /><br />Masks and social distancing required for all in-person programs except for children age 5 and under and those with exempt status.<br /><br />This event is sponsored by the Leavenworth Public Library.
